Aware Awake Alive + CSU present: “PLUG AND PLAY” — A conference and orientation
Join us in Long Beach January 30th and 31st
At the CSU Office of the Chancellor, Dumke Auditorium
(Participation in this event is limited to California State University administration and students)
It’s time to do some binge thinking. On January 30th-31st, plug into a life-saving and dynamic movement on your campus. You and your CSU colleagues will have the opportunity to meet with Scott and Julia Starkey (parents to Carson Starkey and co-founders of Aware Awake Alive), learn how the Aware Awake Alive Toolbox can organically change the way your campus deals with the issues surrounding alcohol poisoning, and contribute to the system-wide messaging and tools. Come collaborate on how to create a peer-driven awareness program on your campus—it’s Plug & Play!
When:
· Plug: January 30th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.—Registration, Keynote from the Starkeys, Meet and Greet, Team Assignments
· Play: January 31st from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.--Keynote, General session, Breakouts (Continental Breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.)

· California State University Office of the Chancellor at the Dumke Auditorium (401 Golden Shore, Long Beach, CA 90802)

What is in it for you?
This is not another obligatory sit-and-listen continuing education event. At Plug & Play, your ideas, input, and feedback will be the driving force of our shared outcome of understanding and action-items. That’s the Aware Awake Alive way! The Aware Awake Alive team and the Starkeys will come together with you and other CSU stakeholders from various levels of experience and areas of responsibility for the beginning of a system-wide movement to save lives from deadly alcohol poisoning. This is a singular opportunity to meet with other CSU representatives to discuss the issues surrounding alcohol poisoning and learn how to develop a program that will enhance your current initiatives. The conversation around suggested solutions will be real, honest, peer-focused, and compassionate.
