Help Aware Awake Alive grow its audience and share its message! The Centers of Disease Control reports that approximately 50,000 deaths occur per year as a result of alcohol poisoning. Those numbers do not include alcohol-involved auto accidents. With your help we can save lives by spreading our message through social media, educational materials and community events. Social Media
Use e-mail, Facebook and Twitter to spread the word.
- Forward a link to the AAA website and encourage your friends, family and colleagues to browse the site and join the newsletter. By sharing the AAA message with everyone in your address book and asking them to do the same you can make a real difference.
- Like us on Facebook and ask your friends and family to do the same. If each of us brings at least 50 friends to the AAA Facebook page we can effectively spread the message.
- Join us on Twitter and ask at least 50 of your friends and/or family members to do the same. Every few days we are updating events and sending out helpful and interesting facts about alcohol poisoning and binge drinking. Make sure you and your friends are in the loop.
Videos
Share the AAA videos with friends and colleagues. In the Library you can download videos that cover topics ranging from first hand accounts of what it feels like to lose a best friend to the difference between falling sleep and passing out. Download your favorite videos and share them on your Facebook page or e-mail them to friends and family. Ask your friends to do the same. Help us ensure that thousands of people see these videos.
Posters
Also in our Library you will find a variety of posters. Download your favorite, print them out and hang them at school or the office. Be creative! Encourage your friends and family to do the same.
Student Ambassadors
If you are a high school or college student send an e-mail to info@awareawakealive.org and ask about our student ambassador program. We are looking for responsible, intelligent and ambitious students to act as liaisons between the schools they attend and Aware Awake Alive.
