Austin Community Foundation Supports The High School Program

Thanks to a generous grant from the Austin Community Foundation, Aware Awake Alive is piloting a high school program with three Austin schools: Anderson High School, Austin High School, and St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. Our desire to work at the high school level is a result of the alarming statistics that show 1 in 4 high school students are binge drinking. With support from the Austin Community Foundation, we will potentially educate and empower 6,000 high school students in the next year with the resources and the confidence to save a life from alcohol poisoning.
